Local Wrench,
ReplyDeleteIt is really difficult to put into words a customer’s feelings toward a service agent such as Local Wrench. In my 54 years (I am 74) of dealing with companies which supply services and goods, I believe my best experience has been with Local Wrench, and its employees. The owner of the company, Jeff Baker, is not just the company owner, but an absolute Outstanding Human Being, who sets the tone for the company. The care he demonstrates for his customers is reflected in his behavior and the work of his staff.
Since becoming a customer, I have consistently and repeatedly been stirred by their good work, results, and their near-perfect balance of customer expectation and customer satisfaction.
I began with Jeff in 2004, owning a 1992 Ford Club Wagon with 106,000 miles on it. Although I loved the vehicle, due to my age, I was at a point in my life where I needed to make a sound and accurate cost-benefit analysis decision on whether to purchase a different vehicle or keep the van. I sat down with Jeff and discussed the options. Local Wrench had by this time been servicing and repairing my van for a year or so, and had a pretty good idea of what lay ahead. Jeff was candid with the options before me. A newer van would require less maintenance and service, but would require the investment of purchase. If I continued to use my existing van, I had to accept, equipment wears out. I now have nearly 209,000 miles on my van and it is running GREAT. My maintenance and repair costs (an occasional brake job, tune-up, front end replacement, timing chain) have equaled only a fraction of what a newer van would have cost me. The vehicle continues to be my primary source of transportation and I have every confidence in it. Jeff and his staff have anticipated mechanical problems and scheduled repair before the calamity of a breakdown.
Such service requires a trust relationship between the service provider and the customer. Shortly after becoming a customer, I felt I could rely on Jeff and his staff at Local Wrench. The trust relationship continues today and grows stronger with every maintenance/service event.
I want to congratulate Jeff Baker, his staff and employees for doing a great job at maintaining both my van and my wife's Chrysler. Reliability is the most important aspect of transportation; car, train, boat, or otherwise. With Local Wrench my wife and I have enjoyed that reliability.
Thank You & Happy Holidays
